What is the Best Time to Buy?

Have you ever wondered how you could get the best deal on an item you are planning to purchase? There are certain times of the year that are better than others. Take a look at this helpful chart for some real savings.

January Small appliances (irons, blenders, food processors, toasters, crock pots), winter coats and dresses, lingerie, cosmetics, home furnishings such as lamps, linens and towels (white sales), resort clothing sports gear, boats, home theater systems.

February Bedding (including mattresses, box springs, etc.); good used cars, window treatments, curtains and drapes, a lot of furniture, some fabrics, house wares such as silver and glassware, dishes, men's shirts, pants and suits; hard weather boots; sporting goods, boats.

March Toys, luggage, coats, garden supplies, hosiery, house wares, major appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, shoes and spring clothing, skis and other winter sports gear.

April Outdoor and patio furniture, fabrics, lingerie, radios, televisions, stereos, DVD players, VCRs, CD Players, shoes, cookware, vaccums.

May Bedding, outdoor furniture, air conditioners and fans, including paddle fans; home furnishings, cookware, jewelry, linens, lingerie; radios, televisions, stereos, DVD players, VCRs, CD Players.

June Bedding; camping gear, garden equipment, lingerie, men's and boys' clothes, shoes, sportswear, tires, furniture.

July Stereo equipment, sporting goods, major appliances, fabrics, furniture, patio furniture.

August New cars, furniture, gardening supplies, curtains an drapes; camping gear; tires, linens.

September Bicycles, new cars, fabrics, gardening supplies, men's and boys' clothes, sporting goods.

October Furniture, major appliances, new cars, lingerie, sporting goods, toys.

November Blankets, coats, curtains and drapes, fabrics, house wares, linens, luggage, toys.

December Baby items (layettes, bassinets, changing tables, strollers, etc.); blankets, used cars, house wares, coats, home furnishings, radios, televisions, home theater systems, resort wear.
